Done Trade: Eagles confirm the signing of another top experienced star

In the most recent 2024 NFL mock draft, the Philadelphia Eagles choose Amarius Mims, according to Bleacher Report.

The Philadelphia Eagles will choose 22nd overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, and Amarius Mims from Georgia is an offensive lineman to keep an eye on. The 2024 NFL Draft is stacked with offensive tackle prospects. Philadelphia has always had a very excellent offensive line, and it has for many years.
Jason Kelce recently retired, and Lane Johnson is growing older. According to the newest Bleacher Report NFL Mock Draft, the Eagles will choose Mims from Georgia. He stands 6’7″ and weighs 340 pounds. The Bleacher Report Scouting Department explained why Philadelphia made this move as follows:

“The Philadelphia Eagles usually want to be loaded in the trenches. As Jason Peters’ career came to an end, the Eagles invested draft selections in Jordan Mailata and Andre Dillard in consecutive classes to guarantee the left tackle position was addressed. Mailata evolved into one of the game’s top blind-side defenders. Philadelphia selected Cam Jurgens in the second round of the 2022 draft as the likely successor to Jason Kelce, who retired this offseason. The similar method should be used at right tackle. Lane Johnson turns 34 later this year, and he hasn’t played a complete regular-season schedule since 2015. Amarius Mims of Georgia couldn’t have found a finer scenario.

This Would Be a Good Pick for the Philadelphia Eagles. By Taking Amarius Mims From The Georgia Bulldogs
Philadelphia’s general manager Howie Roseman would be wise to select Mims in the 2024 NFL Draft. Even if they were unable to choose in this draft, they would have plenty of other options, including Oklahoma’s Tyler Guyton. Graham Barton from Duke or Kingsley Suamataia from Brigham Young University.

What the Eagles truly need is assistance at cornerback, which was the team’s worst weakness last season. It was the reason Philadelphia imploded down the stretch and went one-and-done in the playoffs, rather than attempting another Super Bowl run.

The Philadelphia Eagles will also have the opportunity to choose solid starting cornerbacks at the 22nd pick. In actuality, they should spend their first two picks on cornerbacks, but selecting a possible Lane Johnson successor would not be the worst thing in the world for the organization.
Amarius Mims has talent in this league, and Lane Johnson will show him the ropes on how to succeed. This option is unlikely to offend Eagles fans.
