Buckeyes star agree deal to join Texans on $89.5m in a blockbuster deal

Buckeyes reunion?
Cade Stover says, “I want to work with C.J.
” Please play with Stroud” Houston Texans select his C.J.
Stroud is a star for the Ohio State Buckeyes and was the No.

2 pick in last year’s NFL Draft.
Over the next few months, Stroud shocked his NFL and had a historic season en route to being named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Now that the Texans have seen Stroud’s ability, they may be looking at another talent in Columbus, this time outside of the tight end position.
During the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Buckeyes right tight end Cade Stover announced that he has completed a formal interview with the Texans, indicating that the Texans are interested in him as a prospect.
And it seems like the feeling is mutual.
Stover is excited about the opportunity to play for the Texans.
Especially since he’ll be reunited with his former Ohio State teammates in Stroud.
“It means a lot to go to C.J.
, to go back,” Stover said.
“Two years ago, we were captains together, and just his pure talent of wanting to win and my pure talent of wanting to win, just how much respect and respect I have for this guy.
I can’t tell you how close I felt.
” I want to be back with him more than anything.
” Stover and Stroud led the Buckeyes to an 11-2 record during the 2022 college season.
While playing alongside Stroud, Stover emerged, recording a then-best 406 yards on 36 catches and five touchdowns.

Stover had 76 yards and five catches in 2021, the season before Stroud took over as Ohio State’s starting quarterback.
Stover played five seasons at Ohio State and established himself as a strong draft prospect.
He played linebacker his freshman year before converting to tight end.
“I do whatever you ask me to do, which is exactly how it should be every time,” Stover said.
“I’m just scratching the surface of how good I can be.
